p-Lambda-bounded variation
A characteriation of continuity of the $p$-$Lambda$-variation function is given and the Helly's selection principle for $Lambda BV^{(p)}$ functions is established. A characterization of the inclusion of Waterman-Shiba classes into classes of functions with given integral modulus of continuity is given. A useful estimate on modulus of variation of functions of class $Lambda BV^{(p)}$ is found.

متن کاملChain rules and subadditivity for Tsallis entropies
Chain rules for Tsallis type entropies are proven, as including the famous pseudoadditivity in nonextensive statistics as a special case. They give important relations between Tsallis conditional entropy and Tsallis joint entropy. Moreover the subadditivity of Tsallis type entropies is shown for the correlated two random variables in the case of q ≥ 1 with the help of the generalized Shannon in...
متن کاملP Systems with Boundary Rules
We propose a new variant of P Systems, based on boundary rules, shortly called PB Systems. Boundary rules means that rules are not internal to regions but they are able to “see” even externally, that is, they are sensible to what happens around the border of the membranes. We prove the computational universality for PB systems with three membranes which sense at most one symbol outside and one ...
متن کاملP Systems with Antiport Rules for Evolution Rules
We investigate a variant of evolution-communication P systems where the computation is performed in two substeps. First, all possible antiport rules are applied in a non-deterministic, maximally parallel way, moving evolution rules across membranes. In the second substep, evolution rules are applied to suitable objects in a maximally parallel way, too. Thus, objects can be the subject of change...
